Plans People Cancelled Because Of Coronavirus

Someone on AskReddit asked for people to share the various plans they've had to cancel, as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak. As time passes on by, pretty much everything as we know it seems to be getting cancelled. It's a strange time, and the futility of planning has never been felt more painfully. Everyone stay safe out there, and wash those hands!

    Text - ImSqueakaFied • 14h Trying to cheer up my mom. Her sister is turning 75 this year. The sister has a controlling husband and my mom hasn't physically seen her for 35 years. She was taking my grandmother to see her. Now that trip is cancelled. Mom and grandmom are heartbroken but grandmom is declining mentally and keeps having to be retold.

The housing crisis is what put me off going sooner and I could not have timed this worse. Scared I will never get to feel like a real adult.

It has not been as smooth as I thought : wife had a vaginal and urinary track infections, lots of problems with HRT ( they took both ovaries) I made the reservations months ago, so yesterday we walked in the park for an hour, and gave a class ( sitting / standing) for 2.5 hours thinking this was a trial run for the activities. I could not wait to see how excited she was going to be when we finally got there. She does do a lot for herself and she deserves it. However, all the refund from this trip will probably help my credit score do theirs that.

I had to cancel because pretty much everywhere I my town is closed, including movie theaters. I even worked longer hours to be able to afford the dates $ expenses. Really feel terrible about it

I have fibroids and have tried many options to get relief and nothing has worked, so hysterectomy was the way to go. I got a phone call from the doctor on Monday saying the surgery is considered elective and according to the CDC elective surgies need to be canceled. I have no idea when this will be "lifted."

I have major depression and going to these classes had been one of the first things that I actually found joy in in a long time. Thanks to social media, we managed to locate her family in 2017, though it's sad cause gran died in 2004. We immediately booked a flight to see them that year.
